To better address the learning needs of our clients NIS has recently set up an office in India, China and Brisbane, Australia. Having an office in Shanghai enables NIS to better manage the transition Chinese students into the New Zealand educational environment and the office in Brisbane assists in consolidating NIS pathways into many Australian Universities. Future development of NIS is expected to involve building stronger links with market representatives in Thailand and Vietnam.

Code of Practice

The National Institute Of Studies is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Ministry of Education and has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code.

The Code  provides a framework for service delivery by all education providers and their agents to international students. The Code sets out the minimum standards of advices that are expected of educational providers with respect to international students. The Code applies to pastoral care and provision of information only, and not to academic standards.
